replacing cv's

Hey
I have a 93 mazda MX-6 ls v-6 but you guys seem to get more replys here!
Im going to change my axles 1 way or another this weekend and just wondering if you any1 has done this and any hint/tips would be awesome!
Ive been pulling stuff apart just to look for anything else that needs replacement while im down there but it all looks ok...ball joints might be sumthin tho....Anyways, thanks for any advice!

Re: replacing cv's

Buy new rebuilt axles and the bolts on the strut have a cam on one side. Use a punch and mark them. Lay them out so you put them back in the same hole.
Other wise the wheels won't be setting properly when done. Its been a while since have done one of these. If the ball joint has to be removed use a large dead blow hammer and smack where the bolt goes through and it should come a part so you don't damage the rubber.
