98 3800 won't start

Hey guys first post here, I drive a 1998 Olds Intrigue GLS w/ 3.5 engine. I am having trouble starting my car, it started just fine yesterday and I drove it for about a half-mile when it started missing, then died like it was outta gas? I have almost a full tank? I am abt to go get it coded then I will repost soon... Any help would be greatly appreciated

Did it start this shortly after you filled up? If so, could be you got a batch of bad gas.

If you think it could be related to water in your gas, throw in some HEET or other water remover.

Also, if you dont have a SES light, there wont be any codes to retrieve.

yes I agree sounds like a classic case of watered down fuel. Esp. considering you said you have almost a full tank (meaning, you must have just filled up)
