well i tried running the codes today.

it seems to flash 1,2 several times
then 4,1 several times and the repeat the process.

rough idle, worse mpg, maybe less power, 120k, properly maintained.

should i remove the neg. cable for a bit. clear the codes, run it. and see what more codes show up. it's the 1,2 that is confusing me.

It'll always flash 1,2 (Code 12). It does that to confirm the system is working correctly.

Code 41 could indicate several different things! First thing to check is the cam sensor and the cam sprocket magnet. In addition, do not rule out the crank position sensor, as that can also set this code.
