2000 Axle / Spindle nut size 30mm or 29mm or 1-1/8?
Getting ready to change the wheel bearing assembly on my 2000 windstar. Searching this forum led me to think the spindle nut was 30mm. I bought a 30mm deep socket but it seems looser than I like. Is this perhaps a 29mm or a 1-3/16 instead? Thanks.

Don't worry about the looseness, it won't strip the nut, 30mm is the right size. If you have a socket that will give you a better fit go ahead and use it. I just don't want you to spend more money and time on getting another tool.
