PO102 code during inspection

Hey everyone. I've been reading this forum for awhile without membership, but I'm here now!!

My Intrigue is beginning to make me upset. I've been getting error codes for awhile now and I still have not found the problem. My latest one is this PO102: Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit Low Input. My car has a servere case of hesitation during startup/idle, also every time I stop at a light or Stop sign. As long as I'm on the gas peddle, in runs somewhat smooth. I can tell that it's working harder than it use to when driving.
I've replaced a few parts already. Mass Air Flow senor and connecter, PCV Valve, ERG, Air Filter, alternator( it actually died during my year long ordeal), Coil, and spark plugs.....

Help...

Oh, I forgot to say that I went to Firestone and the tech mention that I may need to replace the computer in my car...????

Re: PO102 code during inspection

Were the old codes cleared after the MAF sensor was replaced?

The sensor may have a bad ground wire and not be functioning right. Try and see if you can find where the sensor is grounded.

Re: PO102 code during inspection

Yes, the codes were cleared after I replaced the MAF. I believe twice. There's been a few different codes and part replacements in between that and this latest one....and nothing has fixed it...

I was thinking about replacing the throttle position sensor and/or MAP sensor.

Re: PO102 code during inspection

Well I replaced the MAP sensor...with mixed results....
The MAP sensor was bad...it broke into piece in my hand after I removed it..the car longer has a sereve case of the shakes but slight hiccups..
the code still comes back PO102

Little Hoov... I will do my best to trace the ground, success might be slim to none...

I also heard a hissing sound on the drivers side.... first time this has happened..
