impala cuts off when driving
I have a 2000 impala LS 3.8, in the morning when i start the car it starts easy, but when i drive it for a while and then park it and try to start it up again it hesitates to start, it also cuts off on me while i am driving. I had the car diagnosed with p 1811, i dont know what to do from here on. Please help

P1811 is transmission, which would be a hard shift at times. the pressure control solenoid and possilibly the valve body need to be replaced. This would not cause the engine to stall. The stall could be caused by the mass air flow sensor or crankshaft sensor. Either can fail and not set codes. In my car it was the MAF.A dealer can snapshot the computer at the time of the stall. graph out the 2 sensors along with rpm and look for the maf to spike or the ckp sensor to drop off.
