Jeep won't starting after running 1+ hours
My 1994 Jeep Cherokee Laredo V-8 won't start after sitting following a long drive. Normal Drive time about 1.5 hours. It will start within about 15 minutes but, if you wait longer then you have to wait until it cools completely >4 hours. When it is working the garage can't find anything wrong.
The problem started happening after we had the heads fixed when my daughter ran it without coolant. Those problems were corrected but, I think some other heat senstive thing may have been damaged. Could it be that after driving and setting the heat builds-up and causes some part to fail. Maybe the coil or electronic ignition? Any suggestions? |

Re: Jeep won't starting after running 1+ hours
I had a similar problem with my fathers 89 wagoneer after an overheat due to a faulty heater control valve I dont know why but the shop replaced the crank sensor and it stopped for a while after checking the service bulletins at work i noticed the aftermarket senso is adjustable you have to hold it flush to the bell housing when u install it i adjusted it no problems since.
