02 mustang gauge color
I want to change the color of the gauge lights on my v6 02 without having to buy a kit. The research I have done indicates that it uses a 194 led bulb but what I wanna know is if I put a red, blue, amber, ultraviolet bulb would those colors show through or is the dark green part of the the face. I dont wanna take the cluster out twice so knowing before I start spending money would be awesome. Thanks in advance

To answer my own question there seems to be green plastic inside so if I put a red bulb in it would probably end up showing through as blue. However its not a #194 bulb. Its has a twist lock base. Can anyone tell me what type of bulb comes stock in an 02 v6 mustang's instrument cluster? And also where to get the bulbs in colors. Thanks again
