1998 Bonneville

Need help diagonosing a heater problem. The fan would run intermittently for the last month or so. Then this last week it stopped working for over a week--it did however work for about 3 minutes this morning and I haven't been able to get it to turn back on since. It seems like it is heating, it just isn't blowing. I checked the blower and it seems ok. I checked fuse--seems ok. I considered the resistor but it doesn't work on high, med or low so I don't think that is the problem. Any suggestions?

Try tapping the blower with something next time it doesn't work. If that gets it to turn on, it means you need a new blower motor. The most likely problem is that the bearings in the motor are sticking. I have the same problem right now, just too lazy to change it out at the moment. Luckily it's comfortable here right now. The new blower should only be about $30
