Bent A frame
Hey i hit a curb and bent my A frame on my passenger side front wheel. I have a 94 cavalier z24. Can anyone tell me how to take the part off?
Maybe even where i could get a new one for cheap cheap cheap? |

Re: Bent A frame
1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Remove the wheel. 3. Separate the lower ball joint from the A frame. 4. Remove the stabilizer bar link (long bolt). 5. Remove the bolts from the end bushings (the green bolts). 6. Pull off the A frame (if it doesn't fall off). Your other option to #5 & 6 is to remove the suspension support and A frame as an assembly, and get the replacement from a salvage yard. There are six bolts (the red bolts) holding it to the unibody structure. That way you won't have to mess with removing the bushing bolts (can be difficult). Also, if the A frame was bent, there's a good chance that the suspension support was also damaged.
