New tires and some personalization of the race car

Got the new tires in and mounted. Decided to go with Nitto RIIs for a few reasons, the biggest being cost/mile. After running Kumho V710s on the Z06 for a few years I'm tired of spending that kind of money when I'm not really racing... there' sno winner in an HPDE so the RII should do the job. Once I start running TTs etc I may go back to a slick.




My father's 60th birthday is on the 31st so I surprised him and got us some name decals for the car. He's in town this weekend to hang out and to test fit the seat with me. I got the idea from the Daytona Prototypes... we've been to the VIR Suntrust race the past two years.

I'm 100% on board with the tires and just did the same thing. I like Michellin Pilot Sport Cup. The are affordable and will last the entire year when doing DE's. I run them on my P-cars and have been very happy. I love slicks too, but jeeze... they can get expensive quickly and as you said, there's no winner in the DE so wtf...

I like the decals, bet your dad will too.

^ A buddy on our local car forum does graphics/vinyls for a living. I took a measuremet of the area, told him the names and that I wanted flag, sent him a pic of the car so he could see the font used on the existing numbers, and away he went.
