need help 1994 sonma

I have a 4 cyl 1994 sonma that just dies whenever you slow down or come to a stop for too long.I have replaced:

fuel filter
coil pack
ing control mod
egr valve
spark plugs and wires

still does the same thing check engine light will not come on until it dies wait 30 secs later starts right up no engine light..drive a little dies again..

Hello.. I had a 94 Chev astro van that did the same thing ..Turned out to be the internal fuel pump in the tank..Treid everthing too but it was Dirt in the pump ruining it..
