The white exhaust smoke and loss of coolant is a sign of intake gasket trouble. If I'm not mistaken, several people have reported their engines hydrolocking under certain conditions.

I verify the coolant volume yesterday and realized that the amount (volume) that is in the reservoir is still at the same level. Im thinking about adding some more since its right at the cool line in the reservoir.

Re: Troubleshooting codes P0650, P0449...

This thread is getting very difficult to follow. You start the thread with two codes needing definiton, then say there is no CEL on. Next, you say the coolant level is dropping and white smoke is coming out the exhaust, then you say the coolant level is fine. Please clarify what is happening so we can try to help you.

Re: Troubleshooting codes P0650, P0449...

I apologized. In regards to the car I want to info you that the car has no trouble cranking compare when temperature outside is round 50 degrees and below compared on hot days outside. Also, there is noticable erractic rpms but white smoke out the exhaust minimum since I added STP Oil treatment. The car does cut off when the car is push to the max>such as If I was racing going from 30 to 95mph on the streets or highway but once I come to a stop or slow down rapidly it cuts off!!
