Onstar Upgrade Kit for 2002 Chevy Tahoe Z-71

I have received a notice from Onstar that I will no longer being able to get services from Onstar concerning my 02 Tahoe Z-71; because of the conversion process to a digital system. I know this is affecting million of subscribers that have GM vehicles before 2005 that have Onstar installed in them. I am wondering has anyone with a 2001 - 2003 Chevy Tahoe been able to get a upgrade kit from the dealership. Any help i would greatly appreciate, thanks.

Hi Ech,

It looks like you and I are in the same boat with the same OnStar situation. My OnStar was turned off on 1-2-08 and I am sure yours is too, I have joined the nationwide class action lawsuit against OnStar and GM and I encourage everyone to jump aboard. It's free and only takes a few minutes of your time. OnStar and GM are being sued for a free digital upgrade and installation to all consumers who have an analog Onstar system. OnStar new in the late 90's that there was an FCC ruling and that eventually they would have to upgrade to digital, GM and OnStar did nothing about this and continued installing the analog system in new vehicles for years after they new about this. I have posted some OnStar class action info below for you and everyone else, I hope I am not breaking any rules for this forum by sharing this information.
