d16z6 question

i just did a d15b7 to d16z6 swap and i have it almost done but when i go to turn it on it fires on all the cylinders then shuts off. the only thing i didnt have connected is the alternator but i cant figure out where this hose goes to it comes off this black box on the back of the engine i couldnt get a picture or find anything about it thanks for any help.

The black box on the back of the engine you're referring to is more than likely the crankcase breather oil seperator box. the tube coming out of it should go up in between the 1&2nd intake runners you'll see a hole. then the pcv valve should go into the top. Make sure you have the ground tight on the theormostadt housing. What ECU are you using?

No P28 is perfect, are you using the complete z6 or any parts you swapped over? you still didnt get this figured out? If it fires and then dies it could be a fuel problem, the b7 and z6 use different fuel rails, I think I ended up using my b7 rail because the z6 fuel rail hooks up a bit differently. check out the main relay up in the drivers side footwell, maybe unplug it and plug it back in, honda's are notorious for these main relay's failing.

thanks guys i figured it out i am planning on going to a whole z6 setup unless there is somethnig better out there let me know what you think
