delco radio display

My daughter wanted a cd player for her Bonneville. Got one off E-bad and works well but after 4 minutes the display starts jumpimg around with weird numbers. I am pretty good at taking things apart and soldering. Is this an easy fix or not?

Re: delco radio display

You have to unsolder the old bulb(s) and resolder the new. When my bulbs went out I just replaced the stereo with an aftermarket unit that read mp3's. Here is a website that shows how to replace the bulbs.
