Fuel gauge is bouncing.....

Well sort of. I fixed everything else, including putting a new tank, pump and sending unit in(the tank was rotted). When driving, the fuel gauge moves---not just because the gas is moving the sending unit either. It will go from 1/2 tank, then go right to 1/8, then 3/4, and anywhere in between. It's prob. in the wiring, but has anyone had a similar experience?

Please open a new thread pertaining to your new problem. Resurrecting threads older than 6 months is usually not a good idea.
