How can I cancel audio theftlock?

I have venture 2004. The heat and petrol meters are damaged so I replaced them by used one for 99 model. As a result the audio is locked. I know that I should use tech2 device to reprogram the audio and unlock it. I tried to reinstall the old meters so the audio is unlocked. Can I cancel the audio theftlock then installing the new meters without needing tech2 device????
