If I Had To Choose, A 2002 Explorer 2wd 80,000 Mi, A 97 4wd Honda Passport 110,000 Mi, Or A 97 Suburban 80,000 Mi 4wd Which One?

suburban very expensive on gaz explorer very very very very expensive on gaz i never had a chance to try the honda but i realy think its a beter gess for a used car

Stick with an explorer, if you do any research you'll see alot go past 200k miles if taken care of, the 4.0 OHV and SOCH motored explorers get about 20mpg a suburban would be worse and the honda's aren't all that great they're built too cheap. the 2002 Explorer however did have some issues here and there with it being first year for whole different model, so your choice but I recomend an explorer. If you live where you get snow and have to drive in it, go for a 4X4 explorer all 2wd trucks pretty much suck when there is snow on the ground.

And keep in mind that the Passport is a rebadged Isuzu Rodeo, built by Isuzu. The typical Honda reputation doesn't really apply to the Passport.
