92 Tracker Clicking relay inside matches clicking on engine

I have a 92 Tracker that I drove to town. I stopped to buy a guitar and when I tried to start it I could only get it to turn over. There is a relay under the dash clicking constantly and this matches a clicking in the engine compartment by the throttle body, (I think its the EGR System) I switched relays with another one and it stayed the same. Like I said it turns over fine gets fuel and spark, but just wont start. My first thought is the Computer. A couple of years ago I had to do the throttle body jumper wire to bypass the fuel system.) Any thoughts? I hate to give up on my redneck assault vehicle.

I have a 91 tracker that did the exact same thing. Turned out the ecm had a problem. (the ecms are made by mitsubishi and allways go bad eventually. a problem they later fixed) I found a guy on ebay that fixed mine, cost 70 bucks and came with a warranty. took out the ecm sent it to him got it back in about 10 days put it in and the car fired right up and i have not had a problem since and that was almost 3 years ago.
