|
snagged up two new (for me) kits curious about one (mad max kit)
 well was bored today so went to the local hobby lobby .. found the above kit for 5.00$ had a small dent on the edge but nothing at all damaged .. and nothing missing ... never considered building one .. but hey .. just might have to give it a go ...  picked this one up as well .. its the one i am curious about .. did a few searches and found it mentioned .. but didnt find any pics of buildups ... has anyone built this one before on this site? and if so do you have pics of it or a link to the thread?

yeah i knew it was fake ... hehe ... first time i have ever seen it as well .. apparently this is the second release of it .. first release had a metal S/C and scoop in the kit
this is the one from the second model with the large tanks in the rear ... going to build it for sure .. always loved those movies ... just been browsing around trying to find other build up pics and such of it ...

Flea I presume your in Australia. If so get the latest edition of Unique Cars they have a centre spread on restoration rebuild of the Mad Max Car by the guy who made them in the movies. I presume it is 1/24 scale is it?
If you are not in Australia you wont get Unique Cars let me know and Ill scan and email you the article.
