Ideas?

I'll like to know also if it is a '58 or 60-61, since I own a MFH '58 and I'm wondering to purchase a '61

pf? who knows, database error? it just doesn't make sense the UK site has the stuff before the domestic (japanese) sites.

Wouldn't get your hopes up, but it'd still be pretty nice, and actually I think it'd make a good seller.

I heard that Hasegawa has announced '58 250TR in the 1/24 historic car product line (HC19) in the company's 2008 catalogue, so I'm sure the info is a solid one. It's reportedly a full kit (i.e. w/ engine details), due out March '08.

Thanks Hiroaki, so I'll buy my '60 TR quiet . Hopefully Hasegawa would keep up the old tradition of superb models in this one.

Hasegawa's proving that somebody out there's listening to us. Finally, one of the top "Now why has there never been a kit of this?" cars comes out in 1:24th scale plastic.

Being a '58 it could be one of two body styles....the famous pontoon fender or the full fendered body. Wonder which we'll get.

Hopefully (over time)...both. Seems most new plastic kits are designed for more than one variation. Hasegawa seems smart enough to know that investing in modern tooling should be done wisely, so multiple variations on the Testa Rossa theme would make sense. Surely they'd do the pontoon fendered version in the beginning; that's the TR that everyone remembers.

Now, who is going to step up to do a modern 250 GT Lusso and some variants, like a really nice full-detail 250 SWB (since Italeri/Gunze seem to ignore theirs...). Certain vintage Ferraris can be sold in enough quantities that they don't have to necessarily be low-volume high $$ resin kits. Of course the only Model Factory Hiro kit I have is a '58 Testa Rossa and some of it's "weirdities" like the odd combo of white metal and resin for the body are not exactly inspiring me to build it...I'll get the Hasegawa for sure. Anything to stay away from white metal

Oooo, yeah. I'd love a full engine, but even curbside would be cool. Hasegawa has been doing such terrific kits in their historic range lately, this one really should be worth the wait.

So that means you will be nice to all the newbies all year long? Glad I could brighten up your year. I was very happy to see this version and hope that there are more to come, I guess Hasegawa and Fujimi are the only ones listening to us and that's fine by me.

What do you think they will do for the wire wheels?
