A composite is an 800x600 pixel image that is made up of 2 or more other images combined into one - usually done in photoshop or some other image editing software.
Here is an example of the kind of thing from one of my WIPs. Obviously these are just "rough and ready" composites but you can use a little more artistic energy with yours

thank you klutz! I was wondering how i was going to fit body work and engine work into one photo! now I just have to figure out how to do a composite on my photo editing system!

I personally think there shouldn't be any composite pictures in the next years one. As it really isn't just one photo! I'll let it slide this year.

i entered my R32, i just took a picture of the car with the bonnet off to show the engine,i was going to enter my celica, but i didnt think id finish in time,so i picked my 32, and 2 days after i entered, i finished the celica
im dieing to see the entrants!this year is going to set the benchmark for AFMOTY i feel.
