02 TB fan speed

Heater fan speed 5 does not work. All other speeds work. Obviously it is not the speed resistor. Any ideas? I tried search but nothing came up.

Replace the blower relay/resistor mounted on the blower case behind and to the left of the glove box.

I thought replacing the resistor was if any of the lower speeds do not work. Only my highest speed which is 5 does not work. All lower speeds work.

That relay/control, controls all the speeds. But double check the involved fuse first of course, but the same thing happened to my 02 TB.

I have a 2002 trailblazer that when i bought it number 1 & 5 didnt work i went to the dealer last week and they changed the resister and it fixed the problem. They didnt know if it would work as they beleaved that number 5 should be working but with the resister changed all my levels now work
