'98 Riv S/C question???
Just purchased this 98 Riv w/64K on it...nice car but when starting up supercharger sounds terrible, like the bearings are shot but after a few minutes it calms down and makes little or no noise at all. changed oil but still does this. New to superchargers...should I be tearing this down now or perhaps taking belt off for now???? Or what should I look for-bearings going bad, snout coupler? Any info would be appreciated at this time. thanx..t.r.

Re: '98 Riv S/C question???
It's most likely the coupler inside the S/C snout. They are cheap and you can buy them from http://www.zzperformance.com/grand_p...=155&catid=106 Don't forget that you will need two more bottles of S/C oil as well.
