325 Torque Converter fluid

Hello. Does any one have any clue as to:
1- How much fluid is in the torque converter
2- What total amount should be in there?

Its an automatic 94 325i (e36/m50).
We've been trying to get this thing together for a year, and thought this would be a good time to know this stuff. (No, it's not in those aftermarket repair manuals.) GM online source makes it sound like 5 liters (!?) No way?
