Interesting Project Car
Was talking to a guy I know today and hes just bought a Mini Clubman Van and the B16A motor out of a DA teg.
Guess where hes gonna put it... Hes a engineer by trade and already has a 112bhp A-series clubman so im sure hes up to it.

I was looking at a car to build for fastest FWD street car.
Picture this: Suzuki Mighty Boy front diff; out of Suzuki Sierra motor; 13b turbo gearbox; RX4 auto motor in rear driving thru auto to front diff Only problem (besides building and registering) is the amount of weight distributed rearwards. Car would MPH big time but traction would be an issue Any sponsors available???

Theres already a B16a powered Mini somewhere in Auckland, but I have no idea if its still running, but it was fast, when it got traction.
There is also a 13b powered Mini, it sits transversly in the frount, driving through a Toyota Corona G/box, all mounted to a custom made subframe on the frount of the car. Its used regulary in national race series.

Talking about highspeed mini's this guy I know at RC racing used to own one hell souped up mini.
I'm not quite sure what he did too it, but it ran on petrol, but you could switch it over to methanol from inside. He had to build parts for the engine to make sure the engine didn't freeze from the methanol. Supposdly if you put your foot down this car just went sideways. sarujin
