Question about different 626 engine.

Is it true that a rotary engine was offered as an option on the early-mid 90s 626?

Because I went with my little brother to help him pick out his first car and we saw a 94 626 with "rotary" written on the engine.

no 626 came from the factory with a rotary engine. all 1994 626's came with either a 2.0L I4 or a 2.5L V-6 engine.
