What muffler
Forgive me, I know nothing about the Mustang. I usually hang out over on the Civic board. I'm posting this question for my sister. She has a 2001 Mustang V6. She is looking for a good sounding muffler. Does anyone offer any kind of axle-back muffler so I could bolt it on for her. Or, are all the aftermarket muffler the kind you have to take it to a shop and have it welded on. Also, could you tell me what are the size of the inlet and outlet. From the little research I did. I came accross Flowmaster, Dynamax and Magnaflow mufflers. Any opions would be great.
Thanks, Gimme |

All of the mufflers you listed are a good choice over stock. Try to find a mustang that has one of them installed already and see if she likes the sound. Then go from there. Dont worry, you dont have to be ashamed of owning a mustang, you dont have to say its your sisters

MAC makes a complete bolt on for the V6. MAC also makes more power than Flowmasters. Dyno proven. check out http://www.mustangmagic.com

And if she wants even more power you can get duel exhaust kits as well.
