Rb swap how-to

It has occured to me that with all of the banter lately about swapping an rb series engine into a s-13/s-14 no one has actually shed any light on how to phiscally perform this task. I understand some people wont be fortcoming with information due to the fact that this is how they make their money, yet a lot of these forums are directed toward the do-it -yourself type (which includes me). So If anyone has some working knowledge about this swap or knows where to obtain some info. Hop to and please be forthcoming as it will only help the rest of us understand the ins and outs of something we have all been dreaming about.

yea I know what you mean I helped my friend install a rb20det in a 95 240sx and it wont start engine dropped right in exhaust and intercooler had to be fabricated. it kick over but will not fire I have looked all over for diagrams. the closest site was srswap.com and is did not help.
the 240sx is a nice car I was going to get one but not if I have to struggle to find info. if you go to www.mkiv.com this site has every info on the supra you could ever imagine from specs to performance ton's of how to's and lots of pictures this is the kinda site you guys need.

well my friend is using the 89 computer and distributor if you have any info on this like diagrams or color codes please e-mail me.
we don't have any manuals we are counting on another friend who has both but will not let us use them.
big mistake on our part for not buying them before we started.

rb swap isn't really that popular or numerous swap, as compared to the sr20det which has magazine articles on entire websites on the matter. As for that supra site, do they have information say if I wanted to swap a 2002 Celica GTS motor in it? more then likely not.... once again because it is not a popular or numerous swap... There are plenty of sites on the 240, I have some bookmarked which I would give you but Im on vacation away from my computer, maybe Jspec can help you out. From what I have heard it does require custom engine mounts....and Im sure wiring is a nightmare....... as for that engine cranking over and not starting sounds like a fuel problem, but could be computer wiring etc....

o sorry i am new to the nissan stuff what i mean is that the supra site has all the info on supra it was just and example on what would be a good site set up for the 240 and the swap is a SR20DET has the red valve cover. he was going to get the newer harness with the coil paks and computer but hes out of time and money and i need my civic back that i let him borrow.it my daily driver i just drive the supra on the week ends.

well i checked it out and there is no spark and no fuel the pump comes on. also the computer is flashing code 55.

Code 55 is "All OK"!

Is your igniter chip working? What about the crank angle sensor?
