Question 2000 ZX2 vs. 1990 240sx

Both automatics, both without amy modifications. Who do you guys think will win? Racing in a few days and just curious as to what you guys think the outcome will be. Thanks.

P.S. For those keeping up, I won against the Mustang, it was close, but a win's a win.

I assume you beat a V6 mustang, which has a 1/4 ET of ~17 seconds. Your '90 240SX would have the 140 hp, KA24E. The later KA24DE-powered 240s put 155 hp to the ground, and 160 ft/lbs. of torque. I'm not sure about the 2000 ZX2, but earlier models ran somewhere around 16.4 - 16.5 in the 1/4 mile. With the DOHC engine, the 240SX is dead even with the ZX2. With the SOHC engine, you will lose to the ZX2 unless you strip the interior or simply drive better than your competitor.

My suggestion: get a manual transmission first, then save up for either a turbo kit or an SR20 swap. With a turbocharged engine, your 240 will be ready for more serious competition.
