Scoob - Monte 05'
With all of the modifying I have been doing lately I needed an OOB break. I have been wanting to do this Scoob for a long time - actually over a year. So I figured that I would and I would not look at a single reference picture or other persons build. All I want is to complete 2 models in one year. I started on Monday and have had all week to work on it. Here is what I have done.
I know this is a street rally car, but I wanted it lower. I know that Tamiya used there 03' and up kit for this. Oh well, I fixed that with a little drilling and aluminum. I lowered it 1mm overall. ![]() Here is the wonderful flat white painting, lol. ![]() ![]() Here are the rear driveshafts with some BMF and detailing. ![]() How it sat to this point. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Re: Scoob - Monte 05'
Here is the rear diff.
![]() Like the drive shaft? ![]() Rear caliper and rotor with weathering. ![]() Wheels before advertising stickers. ![]() After. ![]() Wheels on chassis. ![]() ![]() ![]() Body on. You can easily tell I dropped this beast. Looks great as there is no rear rake and the front still has tons of travel per rally specs (my rally specs). ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Body will be brought closer after final assembly.

Re: Scoob - Monte 05'
Hi, just to let you know, when I built my model of this version, the final fit after installing the roll cage was horrible it was very hard to even fit the car to the exterior
