PrBLM with stock headlights

I have 1992 civic si HB, and when I have my headlights on low beam my left light doesn't turn on, but the high beams and the courtesy lights both work, by the way I tried changing the bulb, but that didn't help the problem ? Does any one know how to fix this ?

You probably need a new headlight bulb harness. Shouldn't be too expensive.

Well I checked the bulb harness for the side that is not working with the voltmeter and their is no power coming to it when it's set on low beams and when it set on high beams I have a constant 12 V , So do u guys think it's the bulb harness or a wire break or a problem from the source ?

It's not the source because your getting power to the other side.

Therefore it's gotta be isolated to the one side. To check whether it's the harness or just a bum wire somehwere in the car turn on the low beams and check the wire its self somewhere before the harness.

(note: you may need to remove a little bit on the wire's insulation to do this, but it can be covered back up with a little bit of electrical tape.)

If you get 12V from the wire that goes to the harness, but not the harness then obviously it's the harness thats the problem. if you can't get a voltage from the wire its self even before the harness then there's a break in the wire somehwere between the battery and where you checked it.

But now that I'm thinking about it it seems weird that you'd get the voltage when on high beams and not when on low if it was a faulty wire. Generally that would mean that you wouldn't get any power at all because the wires broken.

Anyone know where i can get a shcematic of a civics electrical system?(or at least the portion relevant to the lighting system?)

Oh yeah, and sorry if none of this is any usefull, I personally have absolutely zero experience with civics for stuff like lighting and the such. i'm just looking at this from a purely electrical point of view.
