what would i need for a supercharger?

i have a 95 civic ex with a cold air intake, headers, and wires and thinking about getting a jrsc. i've heard that a sc can make your car detonate and u should get a map sensor controller. if i get a jrsc what parts should i get for it to keep my car from detonating and to make more power out of the sc.

if i remember correctly...JR units should work fine with stock motors. they should supply you with everything you need to run 6psi on the stock motor. u can always go with a Greddy turbo kit that is made for your car. i think it was $1950. the only thing it doesn't have is the blow off valve and the intercooler. other than that ...you get new intake, exaust manifold, etc. intercooler can be had for an extra $600 and a blow off valve for an extra ~$100.

with all the option like intercooler and blow off valve for the greddy, it should cost the same as the JRSC. so now its up to you to choose a supercharger or a turbo. sorry if i'm steering you to a different decision

i heard that motor trend or some other car magazine tested the greddy turbo with more options that it usually doesnt come with like an intercooler, bov, etc and a jrsc (with nothing else) on an integra. the integra w/ just the jrsc ran faster from 0-60 and in the 1/4 mile than the greddy turbo. i dont remember which greddy turbo, but it says this on the jackson racing website.
