12 Sweet Cylinders

Hi; New to the board and I just bought an E32 1990 12-Banger Beast. Love at first sight! BIG QUESTION What am I in for here in terms of major problems. Everything is working right and it drives smooth and strong. I just know its too good to true. No oil leaks yet. PO had center drive shaft bearing replaced along with valve cover gaskets. Oil pan gaskets appear clean and oil free. The right rear shock is leaking just a little bit. No load leveling option ( no switch on dash ) The heat shields on the front exhaust pipes and rear muf are rotten but do not leak. 82k miles and clean as whistle......... Any tips would be very appreciated...Thanks again guys

I think your caqr sounds wonderful. As far as load leveling with no switch, I am fairly sure there is no switch to turn this option on and off. You should feel the car shift slightly when starting. You can also disable this option and have a normal suspension. Load leveling is very expensive to fix. I know that BMP sells a kit to disable this function.

Congrats on a wonderful automobile!
