Here's my story...

Hello.

My name is Kopernikus. I am a 13-year-old teenager that loves cars. Here is my story...I have about $10,000 in the bank right now, going towards my first car. If the interest goes right (it's around 3% right now) I'll have about $12,000 by the year 2006. By the end of this year, I'll start working, too. Making at least $10,000 a year, 20% of that will be stuffed in the bank, the other 20% towards my car, and the rest on anything I want. So let's do the math:

$10,000 x 20% = $2,000 (towards my car). That $2,000 multiplied by two years will turn to $4,000. The grand total will stop at an estimated $18,000.

So...now since I have $18,000 for a car, what should I get? By 2006, alot of mid-range cars will have dropped well below $20,000. I wouldn't mind getting a used, preferably black, 2002 Mitsubishi Galant GTZ and add a few modifications like getting it turbo-charged and hopefully somewhat of a nice entertainment system in the car.

I'm also drawn to those sexy 2001 BMW M3's. They start around $40,000, but one with like 50,000 miles on it by 2006 will be in the $15,000 range.

Let's get back to the subject, what can I get for $18,000 by 2006?
