Tune Up Ideas?

I have a 1996 GMC Sonoma, 4.3L V6. It is really running rough when it idles. Does anyone know anyway I can tune it up the best it can be? I would really appreciate it!!! Thanks!!

Running really rough can be caused by nmany things, is it a misfire, any check engine lite, any other symptoms?,, the question is too general for a specific answer.

Well, It doesn't say "Check Engine" or anything, when i start the truck it takes forever sometimes, and it has stalled before. I know i do need spark plugs and wires, but is their anything else i should consider?

I'd get the fuel pressure checked also, both the FP and the regulator are troublesome on this truck
