4x4 light on and off
2001 4 x4 service light comes on and off as you drive down the road and all 4 of the button lights come on too when the service light is on.you here the clicking noise under the dash like the motor is trying to shift the transfer case . no check engine light is on.anyone had this problem thanks terry

Get it on a good engine/transmission/transfer case/and ABS capable scanner and get codes.
Watch and check the speed sensors real close. ABS or speed sensor problem will disable 4 Wheel Post back code no. And we caqn help. MT

it has all the problems when it rains .we have boiled it down to the box that makes it shift the computes quit talking to each other in the rain other day.next day it worked find.going to change the shift box.

If you are refering to the encoder shift motor.
Some of them can be repaired. Some have a cracked case that lets water in and burns up resisters. Good luck MT
