2001 ford taurus DOHC Heat
Since the winter started i am getting no heat it blows cold. Car is not running cold or hot and is warming up properly so i do not think it is the thermostat overflow is full with antifreeze so what else could be causing heater to blow cold. Sometimes if i drive for a while and let heat build up i will get heat for maybe 1 minute but then blows cold again any thoughts?

Re: 2001 ford taurus DOHC Heat
Could be a blend door issue, also if you have the eatc system, check the thread recently about resetting the control head, for some of those it did the trick..

You may also want to review the threads on water pump vanes and backflushing the heater core.
