Gas door on 1997 Plymouth Grand voyager
My wife bless her heart was putting gas in the car and went to remove the gas hose from the tank . It woudn't come out so she jerked it and broke the gas cover door off. Does anyone know how to replace one? I went to the junk yard and got another but I am at a loss as how to proceed. Any help would be approciated. Nothing in the Chilton manual I bought.

Re: Gas door on 1997 Plymouth Grand voyager
I just looked in my factory manual and it looks like you need to unscrew the mecanism from the inside. It says to remove the innside panel then the water shield, then unscrew the it from the filler tube. As a lot of things in the factort manyal it isn't easy to follow unless you are looking at the vehicle.
