2002 4wd not working?

2002 Envoy SLT 4x4. I just purchased this last week AS IS. I thought everything checked out. Never owning a vehicle with 4wd I never thought to check it. The weather got worse so I turned the knob to 4AWD---and nothing happened, I tried 4HI and nothing happened again... NO lights no extra traction no sounds. I checked the ATC fuse under the hood as well as the 4WD fuse under the seat and they both are good. Any Ideas or suggestions???

Welcome to AF. Many issues can cause this 4wd switch, transfer case module. It should be scanned for a codes and functions with a powertrain scanner.

I'm having the same problem with my 02 Envoy SLT. what did yours turn out to be?
