I have a question that might sound like it's off the wall, but has anybody replaced the fuel pump with an electric in line pump? My understanding is that the fuel pump pressure should be between 9 to 13 lbs. The inline pump is 15 lbs and is a lot cheaper than the $200.00 or more price. My Blazer has 200,000 kms (120,000 miles) with the 4.3 vortec trhotle body injection. I plan to buy a new truck with in the next year.

Re: 96 S-10 Blazer 4x4 4 door fuel pump
If you have a V6, 4.3L, the fuel pressure has to be 62-66 psi. I've never seen an inline fuel pump that puts out that much pressure. If they do make such an animal I imagine it would cost more than the in-tank pump for your truck, which is like $125.00 for a top of the line Bosch pump.
