battery light still on

I have a 1998 Sebring LXi. Just had the alternator and battery replaced. The battery light is still coming on.

I checked the belts and connections. Took the ground wire off of the battery but car starts up okay. I was told if that happened then it was not the alternator.

Anymore suggestions, answers, possibilities?

Bob

might be your car computer... on my Intrepid I had the same problem but they change the alternator that was my problem.. they made a lot of test on the computer and alternator.. if its not the alternator.. test your car computer...
