1984 oldsmobile delta 88
Picture of car :
http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/4/...6/PHOT0134.JPG This is a car that belongs to a friend of mine. I been working on for a while trying to get the rear lights on and i finally got them to work. It was a broke ground in the trunk. But now there coming on they have a problem i see on some other cars like it. Once you hit the brakes the top lenses (yellow top lenses) come on with the brake lights. so until i can figure out what's casing that we had to use some red tape and cover the yellow top. I think it's a relay problem but don't know where they would be located or how to check them. If anyone knows about this or had the same problem please comment back or send me a message.

Re: 1984 oldsmobile delta 88
Take a pair of solid red tail lights from an 80-83 delta 88. They will bolt right in.
The 1/2 ambers were used in 84 and 85. as long as all the signals/brake bulbs work properly you're all good. Someone could have put the older harness in it. The 84-85 harness will have an option for little cornering lamps on them that go inside the back of the taillights. The 80-83 didn't have that extra crap.
