no heat
Hello, my daughter has a 94 olds 88, 3800 motor,it has dual heat control, driver and passanger. i have changed the thermostat and the coolant level is good. both of the controls are set to hot, but we get nothing but cold air. any suggestions ? thanks in advance.

Welcome to AF, check for hot coolant flow in the heater hoses first.

Thanks for your reply maxwedge, I have hot coolant flow in heater hoses. today i noticed driver side was getting warm air out vents, however the passenger side was all cold air. sounds like it might be some sort of control valve. just a reminder it does have dual climate control. again thanks for any help you may offer.

Is the automatic HVAC or manual? Also look at the actuators make sure they are in the full heat position. Even though you have what seems like coolant flow, in the end if all else checks good the heater core could be restricted.

Im not sure what your question is about the hvac, is it automatic or manual. both the driver side and the passenger side heat there is a manual heat/cool control knob.
