98' Headlight Covers

Can someone help me with instructions on how to remove the clear covers for the headlamps? There is a build up of moisture inside the headlams and I'd like to remove it. Any help would be great!!

Removel - 98' Headlight Covers

Just did mine last week. Let's see...

Remove corner turn indicator assembly. See your owner's manual on how to do this.

Remove the bottom metal trim piece that goes under the headlights, by sliding it towards the grill a inch to release.

Remove/loosen the 2 torx screws under the headlight lens, and that were behind the metal trim piece you just removed.

Remove the 2 philips screws on top of the headlight housing.

Undo the 4-5 plastic clips holding the rubber gasket on top of the headlight housing and set the gasket piece aside (does not need to be retached from the rest of the hood side gasket.

Undo the bulb connectors.

Slide entire headlight assembly out.

Remove 6 metal clips holding the lens to the headlight assembly. Might have to remove plastic mounting piece that is screwed onto the bottom of the headlight assembly (3 screws).

Carefully pop out the lens material from the assembly.

enjoy.
