Special Motocross Yamahas

HI EVERYONE, HERE IS SOME OF MY MOTOCROSS WORK, IM A BIG FAN OF DAMON BRADSHAW, UNLESS HE NEVER COULD WIN A CHAMPIONSHIP, YOU CANT FIND HIS BIKE IN SCALE, IS EVEN HARDER TO FIN A IMAGE IN ITERNET, SO I TOOK SOME OLD MAGAZINES AND A NEW RAY TAMAHA YZ426F AND MADE A REPLICA, BRADSHAWS BIKE WAS A TWO STROKE, BUT I MADE A FOUR STROKE VERSION LIKE A MODERN TRIBUTE, I HAD TO MODIFI THE FAIRINGS WITH STYRENE, TO MAKE LOOK LIKE OLD DESIGN, 90'S DESIGN.
I HAD SOME FREE TIME SO I GOT ANOTHER YAMAHA AND MADE THE YAMAHA SUPERMOTARD USED BY ROSSI, IF YOU SEE THE BIKES ARE REALLY DIFERENT, I USED A DUCATI DESMOSEDICI'S RIMS AND TIRES AND MADE THE REAR ARMS WIDER.
THE BIKES JUST NEED SOME WIRING.

Looking good.
Is it possible not using that imageshack. You can post the pictures without that program.

You should use a program like SMARTFTP to upload the pictures to your own webspace. Then you can insert these pictures to the forum thread using the little postcard symbol on top . There you have to write the webaddress of your picture in. Something like this " http://users.telenet.be/ketjesbazaar...t%20005net.jpg "

So the only thing you need is your webspace and a little program to upload your pictures to it.
When you don't know your webspace address take contact with your provider.

Hope this will help you.

Re: Special Motocross Yamahas

Have made up a similar Rossi Supermotard, again using the Newray bike, plus Ducati Wheels and rotors, plus Jumping figure.

The paint scheme was done this way cos on the first day he just wore his Gauloises leathers, but it was raining so he just worn a Pack a Mack over the top, hence why it's shiney...all coments gratefully recieved..

Re: Special Motocross Yamahas

Hey, they look really alike, we use the same soutions, ducati rims, using the already done yamaha scheme in the fairinngs, but your model is really good with the rider, good work, the only thing missing in your model are the hand protectors.

Re: Special Motocross Yamahas

Yea I know. How did you make those?

It's tricky to see in the pics but the figure even has goggles on! It's a Tamiya Jumping Rider, over 20 years old I think, came up on E-bay and I thought it may come in usefull one day!

Re: Special Motocross Yamahas

I made them from thick paper, it is easy to bend and to make a concave shape, I applied a primer base and they got rigid, and thein I made the paint scheme.
