Ferrari Testarossa (Tamiya)

Here is my Ferrari Testarossa from tamiya. I wish I could have posted it on the 60 years of Ferrari thread. Different color from your Ferrari red but hope you like.

Re: Ferrari Testarossa (Tamiya)

I would probably try to take a better picture next time: either in better light or with a flash if you didn't use it

Re: Ferrari Testarossa (Tamiya)

Yeah, I think I'm better at building model cars than taking pictures of them. Using the camera is a new thing for me.

Very nice color, I like.

Is it just the lighting, or does the paint have a greenish tint to it?

Re: Ferrari Testarossa (Tamiya)

Yes, i have to guess, too. Light green or gold?
It´s looking good anyway! I like non red Ferraris. Well, except for some very special ones.

Re: Ferrari Testarossa (Tamiya)

It's color is supposed to be german silver and yes it looks exactly in person like it does on these shots. Sometimes in daylight, It look more silver like. My Skyline GTR33 that I also posted pictures on AF seem to come out the same with that color. Although I could have done a much better job on this Testarossa with red, I wanted to make it look like one on a poster that I had from a car show that was silver. I'm thinking of doing a white Testarossa drop top.
