03 Expedition issue
the car runs great but recently i encountered a very annoying issue
while i was listening to my CDs, as it began to switch to the next CD in the changer, I heard like a flicking sound. Then it told me there was a CD error and began to eject the CD. But half-way through the process of ejection, I hit CD, and it took the CD back in. Now it won't play the CDs, saying there's a CD error, and when it goes to eject the CDs it says there's an ejection error. So I can't even get the CDs out. Briefly: the CD player says CD error and tries to eject, but then says ejection error. Also, when I press CD, it doesn't sound like it's actually trying to play the CD, for it merely opens and closes the CD slot thrice and then displays the error message. HELP

Re: 03 Expedition issue
I have the same problem in my 03 Navugator. Did you ever figure anything out other than replacing it

Re: 03 Expedition issue
I had the same issue with my Mustang (with a 6 disk changer). What I did was disconnect the negative battery cable for about a minute. Re connect it and the stereo would initialize and eject the cd's. Worked every time. It's kinda like a reset function. Weird!!! I got tired of doing that after while so I purchased a Pioneer head unit. Problem solved for good!
