Stalling - then not !!!

97 caravan w/ 175000 kms
Kept stalling this morning at every stop, as long as the revs were kept up (low/med) it ran fine, but as soon as we stopped it would stall out. It would start up again. Cold morning today, after about a half hour of driving/stalling everything seemed to run fine. Had a tune up in March 07 -new plugs wires etc. Just not really sure where to start, any ideas? could it be a MAP or EGR I don't believe they have ever been changed. Like I said after about half an hour ran fine and the day only got colder.
Thanks in advance

MAP or EGR? Could be. Could also be a dirty throttle body and/or idle air control motor/valve. Are you seeing a Service Engine Light? Check for codes anyway.

Re: Stalling - then not !!!

Hey thanks RIP
No engine light, checked for codes- nothing. After its stalling fit, it runs fine and only when it's cold is it acting up. Will clean the throttle body, can an idle air control be cleaned or do they usually just replace? anyway if it warms up out side I'll try cleaning the TB.
Thanks again

Clean or replace? It's 50/50. I would give cleaning a shot first. Try not to get solvent into the switch housing. Just clean the shaft and it's corresponding opening in the throttle body.
